What is the eligibility criteria for joining this Masters Qualifying Program?
  • Completion of a three-year post-secondary study qualification, and
  • IELTS overall band score 6.0 with no individual band score lower than 5.5 (or equivalent).
Can I join this program without an IELTS Score and attempt IELTS after joining the program?

Though the IELTS score is a preferred mode of proving your English language proficiency, if it is not available to you right now, we will conduct an English Entrance test to establish your current English proficiency.

How many credits do I get after completing the Masters Qualifying Program?

The two discipline-based units in the Masters Qualifying Program carry credit for two units of study in specified partner university master’s degrees. Students who successfully complete the MQP are granted two units of credit in the University of Tasmania MBA (International) degree.

Can we get an IELTS/PTE/TOEFL waiver, if we study through upGrad?

An IELTS waiver is not available to students completing the MQP. Learners will be required to meet the English language proficiency criteria of the university which can be either IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL. As part of the Masters Qualifying Program, you will receive IELTS/PTE preparation modules and tutoring from upGrad which will support you to meet university English proficiency criteria.

What are the documents, I need to provide you for admission to the Masters Qualifying Program?

You will need to provide your Year 12 mark sheet and completion letter, academic transcripts for any study completed or partially completed post-Year 12 (vocational or tertiary) and evidence of completion if a qualification was awarded, IELTS/PTE/TOEFL score card (if available), KYC Documents (Aadhar Card/PAN Card) and Passport
